My background & approach

Not one-size-fits-all.

I tailor my practice to each person, weaving together a blend of psychological methodologies.

1

Person-centred & trauma-informed

Our relationship is the foundation. You'll feel heard, valued and in control. The pace and direction will be set by what's most useful for you.

2

Psychodynamic & attachment theory

Together we'll explore how your early experiences and relationships shape your current patterns at a pace that suits you.

3

Neurobiology & compassion-focused therapy

Exploring how the brain and body process stress will help build understanding, quiet the inner critic and establish self-compassion.

4

An anti-oppressive lens

Your struggles don't exist in a vacuum. Naming the societal structures at play is essential for building understanding and reducing shame.

Rosie Sinclair, psychotherapist

Experience & background

Alongside my private practice I work for BGPS, providing therapy and facilitating Reflective Practice sessions for staff working in homelessness, justice and social care settings. I bring over a decade of frontline experience of working with people suffering from multiple and complex disadvantage to my clinical practice. You don't have to be in a crisis to come to therapy — my experience enables me to work with you wherever you're at.

A deep understanding of complex trauma, resilience and the transformative power of human connection.
